The agency has issued a public advisory advising doctors and consumers about the risks of buying a potentially dangerous drug sold through websites, including a popular drug on the market.
The FDA said the product was manufactured by a joint venture of American pharmaceutical giant Pfizer Inc. and Eli Lilly & Co. The FDA said the two companies will conduct an investigation and review to determine the safety and effectiveness of the drugs.
The FDA said the FDA has not yet received a recall notice from Pfizer.
The FDA has been asked to suspend sales of the products.

The online purchase was first conducted in February 2019, and is being monitored by the German Police.
